the way of Christ no matter what

We “in Christ” are called to take the way of Christ. Whatever difficulty we may be facing, whatever challenges come our way, in whatever season of life, we’re to follow Christ.

At its heart, this means love for God and for our neighbor. And Jesus includes even our enemies, yes, we’re to love them. We’re to turn the other cheek, forgive, love even those who hate us. Like Jesus.

To be a Christian is to be a follower of the Way (Acts). That way is the way of Jesus, no less. No matter what. Whatever difficulty we’re facing in life. We will bend, but we don’t want to break, although when we do, God is present to forgive us and help us  back on our feet to follow. We want in the face of everything to follow Jesus. In and through him.
